Naturally, dissing is part of rap music so you cannot divorce that fact. With that in mind, Ghana Music.com brings you another Tema rapper’s direct diss song to Asem.
Yaa Pono’s punch lines are well delivered, using explosive but funny lines to talk about Asem’s recent rape case. Listen to 2011 Killa Filla by Asem
Yaa Pono, a new prodigy of Pidgen Music has taken over the baton and decided to take Asem on after Paedae, Mugeez, Sarkodie, and Yaw Siki issued a ‘Fair Warning’ song to Asem. His lyrics are clear on the issue of Asem’s recent rape case. In the chorus he says: “Killa, Killa Ooh Killa// A-S-E-M woye Killa wati, Fylla, Fylla ooh Fylla" referring to Asem’s 2010 Fylla.
Asem is known as a “comic and profane rapper” but his ‘2010 Fylla’ song was probably his best. Going against Tema rappers, Kwaw Kese and more.
The music rivalry between Lynx Entertainment and Tema based musicians has been going on for some time now and we shouldn’t be surprised if they fire another song into the Tema camp. |
