Hailing from North London, Wood Green, originally of Ghanaian descent, Suli Breaks a.k.a Suli Amoako uses his poetry to bridge gaps, engaging the youths while also educating those who are not familiar with the London culture. Suli Breaks poetry is something which has to been seen, to understand how he uses his creativity and uncanny ability with words to bring poetry to life at is has never been done before. Suli Breaks poetry is not limited to the stage, he uses a vast array of mediums from visual to audio, displaying them all in his debut DVD “Poetry Is Kool!!?!?!”
 It was not too long ago when Dj-Em, labelled Suli Breaks as the pioneer of “New-School” Poetry, a title which not only seems well deserved but seems to have stuck. Suli Breaks, has been hailed by many as one of the greatest poets to have graced the mic in Britain. He has fans of all ages, backgrounds. He is also currently considered one of the best performers within the UK, with his lyrical content unsurpassed by any. Having started 2009, in just over a year he has become one the biggest names both within the Urban and mainstream poetry circuit.
