 A new movie dubbed ‘Asamoah Gyan’ will hit the market on Monday.
The new movie stars seasoned actors like Agya Koo, Akua Kyeiwa and Akokrobeto, among a host of other accomplished stars.
Produced by Macho Productions, the movie is filled with humor, one that will get people laughing till the end.
In the movie, Isaac Amoako aka Ike plays the role of Asamoah Gyan, who is a peasant farmer but is well known and adored by the people in the small community he lives.
Award-winning actor, Agya Koo, is the chief of the community and he is openly fighting with Asamoah Gyan over a pretty light-skinned lady, Vivian Gill.
Agya Koo tries to use his position as the traditional leader of the town to win Vivian Gill’s love, but the battle seems tough as Vivian Gill is not swayed by his wealth and power.
Afraid of losing Vivian Gill to Asamoah Gyan, Agya Koo adopts foul means, including framing up Asamoah Gyan, who is consequently falsely accused of stealing gold ornaments belonging to the chief.
Asamoah Gyan is arrested for theft and detained by the chief’s guards, who subject him to severe maltreatment but in the end, the truth comes out and Asamoah Gyan is let go and he goes ahead to win the love of Vivian Gill.
CEO of Macho Productions, Eric Okyere, told News One in Chat that the picture and sound quality of the movie, which is in parts one and two, are unique. He was full of hope that the movie would become an instant hit. |
